The hotel

The original Andrássy Hotel was designed and built in Bauhaus style, by Alfred Hajós in 1937. Completely renovated in 2001, the Andrássy Hotel reopened as a 5 star gourmet boutique hotel. Embracing the future, and recognised as Hungary's preferred hotel, the "Andrássy" offers genuine and caring guest services for today's traveller. The Andrássy Hotel is managed by the Orco Hotel Collection, featuring 5 star boutique Hotels and Residencial Suite Hotels in Budapest, Warsaw, Prague, and Bratislava. Andrássy is Hungary's first acceptance to the "Small Luxury Hotels of the World" collection.

    Restaurant & Bar

    The „New” Baraka Restaurant and Lounge Restaurant offers a uniquely true culinary experience. With the help of interior designer Gáal Eszter, the owners of Baraka restaurant have managed to keep it „simple but elegant”, while going with an „art deco” style, inspired by the Bauhaus architecture of the historical Hotel building.
    Combined with the terrace garden which wraps sweepingly around the facade, the restaurant offers the perfect combination of settings to serve an inspiring cuisine, which is rich in fresh flavours and ingredients.

    Prices are per room per night not including VAT 20% and local tax 3%.
    Breakfast is extra (20 EUR/person/night).
    Special rates and conditions apply during the Formula 1 period
    (31st July to 4th August 2008) and New Year's Eve.

    Cancellation

    Existing bookings can be cancelled, without charge, until noon on the previous working day of arrival.
    Cancellations after noon of the previous working day are charged 1 confirmed room night. Failed guaranteed arrivals (no-show) are charged the full value of the booking.

    Children policy

    First child up to 12 year old stays free of charge when sharing parents' room.
    Second child, up to 12 year old is accommodated on an extra bed, when sharing parents' room (Maximum 1 child in Deluxe, 2 children in Ambassador Suites categories, only), at a surcharge of EUR 40.00 per night.
    Baby cots are available free of charge.
